On-device processing
Scripts, imported text, preferences, reading positions and recordings are processed on your device and stored in the app container. Teleprompter Script Studio has no backend and does not send this content to the developer. There are no accounts, tracking, ads or analytics SDKs.
Camera, microphone and Photos
Camera and microphone access is needed to record your videos and is requested when you first activate capture. When you explicitly choose Save to Photos, the app requests add-only access; it does not read your existing photo library. The internal original recording is retained. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
File import and text recognition
The app reads files you select using the iOS document picker. TXT, RTF, DOCX and PDF are processed locally. Text recognition for scanned PDF pages runs on-device. If you select files from a cloud file provider, iOS may retrieve them from that provider.
Storage and control
The app does not automatically delete unexported recordings. Deleting the app removes its local data; exported videos remain in Photos. iOS device backups and photo library sync that you enable may contain copies. Teleprompter Script Studio does not provide its own cloud sync. Manage system copies in the relevant Apple service settings.
Support, website and your rights
If you contact us by email, we use your address and message only to handle your request, based on our legitimate interest in answering it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete correspondence when no longer needed, subject to legal retention duties. Please do not send private scripts or videos. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical access data, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security. We do not add cookies or analytics. For personal data we process, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability as provided by law, and complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Contact us at the address above. We cannot access your local app content.
